Get Your Vitamin Sea Benefits After Your Roatan Vacation is Over

There’s no doubt that your body receives many benefits from a beach vacation.  You’ll often come home with healthier skin, shinier, more manageable hair and a much better attitude.  We like to call these the benefits of Vitamin Sea.  But unfortunately not everyone is able to live in an area where there’s a warm sunny beach available to them year round.  So how can these unlucky souls replicate the conditions of a beach holiday once they’ve gone back to work?  To help them we’ve come up with an article on how to get Vitamin Sea benefits after your Roatan vacation is over.

Vitamin D

Vitamin D is created by the body when exposed to sunlight.  It promotes healthy bones and skin and has been thought to play a role in a positive mental attitude.  But just because you live in an area where you don’t get a good dose of sun all year round, doesn’t mean you have to suffer.  Look into vitamin supplements while eating more foods that promote Vitamin D production such as oily fish, eggs and red meat.

Relaxation

Part of the reason you feel so good after a beach holiday is that you’ve spent a generous amount of time simply relaxing.  Try to ensure you make time for relaxation once you get home as well.  And although we might think it’s relaxing, watching TV or surfing the net is rarely that.  Consider taking up meditation or yoga.  You might also find relaxation by reading a physical book, writing down your thoughts in a journal or practicing gratitude exercises.

Hair And Skin Care

We often notice our hair and skin look great after a beach vacation.  To keep this going at home, moisturize your skin with natural ingredients such as coconut oil, try saltwater baths and hairsprays and consider investing in a humidifier.  Replicating the conditions of the beach can give your skin and hair a sheen that it normally wouldn’t have at home.
